Our First Day of School

Yesterday was our first day of school and it was very productive. We woke up in the wee hours of the morning, which was difficult, because we were entirely out of practice. After eating breakfast we took our traditional 'First Day of School' pictures (Savanna's last one!). We then proceeded to Super Wal-Mart to purchase necessary and not so necessary school supplies. Upon arriving home, we distributed afore mentioned supplies and books. After lunch and a quiet time, we launched into domestic mode, painting kitchen chairs and patio furniture, putting out bark and enjoying our newly cleaned carpet. Dinner consisted of "Southern stirfry" (dubbed so by Graham), cornbread, tomatoes, onions and coleslaw. After visiting with Meme, everyone headed towards bed. Thus ended our first day of school. P.S.- Our goal is for this to be a FUN year!
