Summer Blessings
We just returned last Saturday from the Harmony Hills singing school near Ft. Worth, TX. I was able to go with the family and enjoyed it very much. Meeting the people we had heard so much about and all the goings on for an activity that large was wonderful. The trip out and back was not quite as wonderful but worth the trouble.
We left Sunday evening right after Vestavia PBC communion service and drove straight through. Being somewhat high from communion, we made good time and Type A got to drive a little bit from the TX state line to Tyler. It was just late enough and beginning to drag just enough that we came to 820 and took it but it was on the east loop and not the west. We finally straightened ourselves out and got to the gate about 230 am Monday.
Sweet P and I spent the week in a tent borrowed from dear friends at VPBC and we carried the classroom AC unit which made for just barely comfortable days and very comfortable nights in spite of the 100 degree weather. We enjoyed sitting under the shade in camp chairs and talking with the various camp attendees between classes and were blessed to help work in the kitchen part of the time.
Sweet P and the kids are now at the Harmony Highlands singing school near Jasper. It will be another good but tiring week for them and another dose of Summer Blessings.

It was very nice to have met you both at Harmony Hill. I hope you have a great year and hope you can make GC's meeting next month. God bless, Joe.
I love Summer Blessings...they bring a smile to my face and a warm, fuzzy feeling to my heart with their memory throughout the year.
Now...about next year...you should definitely join us for the whole week at Harmony Highlands... :-)
