What to watch?
Last night, Eugene, Ralph, Loquacia(?) and I were asked to abandon our humble abode as the woman of the house was having a home school support group meeting and she did not want us messing anything up. So we journeyed over the hill to grandmother's house with our lasagna and half loaf of homemade bread to await the call that it was OK to come home.
As we prepared our plates, I announced that a wonderful old movie was showing at the same time as American Idol. Oh my, what to watch?...Taylor Hicks or Cary Grant....Kelly Pickler or Myrna Loy...a move to the country or move to Hollywood...Wham spam ham or Coca-cola...advertising executive/homemaker/lawyer friend/contractors or rockers/blues patrol/Rod Stewart...?
With these hints, how many bloggers will guess the name of the movie and guess who watched which show? There was a substantial majority for one over the other.....

It had to be Mr. Blandings Builds.... Not a clue about the other one. I hope they watched Mr. Blandings.
Since Meme has two televisions, I'll bet it was a split vote, with the two oldest souls watching Mr. What's His Name and the two younger souls watching Idol. My favorite part of the movie--"You got that, Joe?(or whatever his name was) "Yep. Yellow, blue, green and red." (or whatever the last color was)
What's the answer? We are all waiting with bated breath.
Mr. Blandings Dream House is right and 3 of us did watch it till the call came that we could come home...who watched Idol?
