Friends

1. Friends help each other.
2. Friends share their happiness.
3. A good friend is honest.
4. Value your friends.(Be loyal)
5. Choose good friends (ones who help us to live for God, not tempt us to disobey)
*Whoever spends time with wise people will become wise, but whoever makes friends with fools will suffer. (Sorry, it's paraphrased)
6. Good friends forgive. (As Christ forgave us.)
7. Friends watch their words (Read James--difficult for us to control, but God can help)
8. Make new friends (new people at church, new neighbor, someone lonely)
9. Friends like to share (Lending and giving sometimes takes practice; being concerned about and knowing how to make others happy is also sharing)
10. Friends depend on each other (Saul's friends helped him over the gate)
11. Good friends don't gossip (gossip ruins friendships Proverbs 16:28)
12. Friends stick together (will not drop you for a new friend:Remember Ruth)
13. Stay away from fake friends.

My will

When you pray, make sure your will is in neutral so God can shift it. I saw this in the doctor's office this week and wanted to remember this as we begin a new school year.
